Dear All
As we begin our journey through Lent to Holy Week and Easter, I would like to invite you to join with me, from your homes at 4pm on Ash Wednesday, in lighting a candle and then to say the following prayers:
Holy God,
our lives are open before you:
rescue us from the chaos of sin
and through the death of your Son
bring us healing and make us whole
in Jesus Christ our Lord
Amen.
The Lords Prayer
Finally carefully and prayerfully make the sign of the cross on your forehead, the sign of Gods love and acceptance of you as together we begin our journey through the penitential season of Lent.
