Hall Hire

CHURCH HALL FOR HIRE

Our church hall is a separate building to the right of the church and is available for hire at the weekends and some weekday evenings. It is an ideal venue for family occasions, children’s parties or community meetings and functions.  It can be used by anyone, including non-church members, for any suitable purpose.

 Hall

The Hall, built in 1912,  has recently been completely refurbished and presents an attractive and comfortable venue for private hire. The floor space is substantial and ideal for hosting large gatherings for talks, presentations, entertainment evenings and other similar events. It is also ideal for meals or buffet evenings (See details of the Kitchen below).  Sturdy tables and chairs are available for your use.

The Hall is also perfect for Children's Birthday Parties, and there is ample room for a bouncy castle and party games etc. Sturdy tables and chairs are available for use.

A sound system for music and microphones can be provided if required.

Toilets, including a toilet for the disabled, are easily accessible.

Baby Changing facilities are available.

There is access for wheelchairs, prams and mobility scooters.

Kitchen

There is access from the Hall to a well equipped kitchen, with a serving hatch joining the two areas. The kitchen is modern and provides a large double oven gas cooker, a microwave, a hot water boiler and industrial dishwasher (prior permission to use this appliance is necessary). It is also fully equipped with plates, mugs, cups & saucers, glasses, cutlery.

Please note that usage of equipment and items in the kitchen is strictly by prior arrangement. A fee may be charged for such usage.

Hire Costs

As a guide, the hire fee is £55 per session. A session is calculated as being 3 hours.  A deposit of £15 is payable at the time of booking or within 2 weeks of the booking being made, and is non-refundable. The balance should be paid on the day of, or the day before, your event.

The building must be vacated promptly to avoid noise disturbing the nearby residential area.

There are discretionary rates for full day hire and regular users. Please contact the church office to discuss your booking or for further information.

Call in or telephone the church office, during Office Hours (9.30am to 11.30am), or e-mail the office to check if your proposed date is available and to discuss your booking.
