CHURCH GARDEN
After many years invaluable service as a meeting place, the Annex building became unsafe and it was decided to replace it with a garden area. We are delighted with the redevelopment and are certain it will give valuable and enjoyable space for many years to come.
The photograph above shows the site before development.
Hard landscaping has been included for practical use along with a grassed area and small flower beds to add colour and structure throughout the year.

The children from Sunday Club and St Cuthbert's Pre School Playgroup have already spent many hours in the area enjoying the space along with other members of our church groups.
This photograph shows the small flower beds containg plants to attract wildlife and give colour and structure.
Most importantly for our church, the garden is named 'The Janet Duckworth Garden' in memory of Janet who was a dedicated and much loved Reader at our church, and a plaque is mounted on the outside wall.
This colourful area beside the gate has plants to attract butterflies and bees - and look beautiful too!
This garden is a new and exciting addition to our church and offers scope for additions and improvements in the future. We are certain it will give pleasure to all ages for many years to come.
Why not come along to church and have a look at the garden?
