WEDNESDAY COMMUNION SERVICES
At a recent PCC meeting it was agreed that the Wednesday Holy Communion services will be alternated between St. Cuthberts and St. Johns. Communion will be held at 10.30am at St Cuthbert's on the first and third (and fifth iif needed) Wednesdays in the month with Communion at St John's being at 10.00am on the second and fourth Wednesdays.
Please be aware that there may be occasions when the venue for communion may alter. Keep up to date on the Home page of our website and in our Church magazine.
The reasoning behind this decision is that, principally, as PCCs, we have a duty of care towards the Rector for health and wellbeing and, secondly, we are mindful of the costs of opening and heating both churches on Wednesdays.
Whilst this may be disappointing for some parishioners, both churches are fairly close to each other in distance, and we hope a Wednesday service will continue to be accessible for all.
We hope you understand why we reached this difficult decision.

We are always glad to welcome regular or occasional visitors to this service.
Usually finishing before 11.15 am, the service at St Cuthbert's is followed by refreshments and a chat in a local cafe to which everyone is warmly invited.
